3. Setup

3.1. Wireless Connectivity (2.4GHz Low Latency)

For optimal low-latency wireless gaming on PlayStation, PC, or Nintendo Switch, use the included Ultra-Low Latency Wireless Transmitter.

1. Plug the Ultra-Low Latency Wireless Transmitter into an available USB port on your gaming console or PC.
2. Power on your SLYR Pro Wireless Headset by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds.
3. The headset and transmitter should automatically pair. A voice prompt will confirm successful connection.

3.2. Bluetooth Connectivity

For wireless connection to mobile devices or other Bluetooth-enabled platforms:

1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
2. Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating "Ready to Pair" and the LED flashes blue.
3. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "SLYR Pro Wireless" from the list of available devices.
4. A voice prompt will confirm successful connection.

3.3. Wired Connectivity (3.5mm Aux Cable)

For wired connection to any device with a 3.5mm audio jack:

1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm Aux Cable to the headset's 3.5mm jack.
2. Connect the other end to your device's 3.5mm audio jack.

3.4. Attaching the Removable Boom Microphone

Insert the removable boom microphone into the dedicated port on the left earcup until it clicks into place.

4. Operating the Headset

4.1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

4.2. Volume Control

Use the volume wheel on the earcup to adjust the overall audio volume.

4.3. Microphone Mute

The Clear Voice Smart Mic features a quick mute function. Simply flip the boom microphone up to mute and down to unmute. An indicator light on the mic will show its status.

4.4. ChatMix and Sidetone Adjustment

Adjust the balance between game audio and chat audio, or enable sidetone (hearing your own voice) using the dedicated controls on the earcup or via the Skull-HQ App.

4.5. Equalizer (EQ) Settings

Customize your audio experience with various EQ settings through the Skull-HQ App on desktop or mobile.

4.6. Skull-HQ App

Download the Skull-HQ App for desktop or mobile to access advanced features such as ChatMix, EQ adjustments, and sidetone control.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the headset frequently. Charge regularly.

• No Audio/Connectivity Issues:
  • Ensure the headset is powered on and fully charged.
  • Verify the correct input/output device is selected on your console/PC.
  • For 2.4GHz wireless, ensure the USB transmitter is securely plugged in and the headset is paired.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headset is paired. Try unpairing and re-pairing.
  • If using the 3.5mm aux cable, ensure it is securely connected to both the headset and your device.
• Microphone Not Working:
  • Ensure the boom microphone is securely attached and flipped down (unmuted).
  • Check microphone settings on your console/PC to ensure the SLYR Pro Wireless is selected as the input device and volume is not muted.
  • Verify Clear Voice Smart Mic settings in the Skull-HQ App.
• Battery Draining Quickly:
  • Ensure the headset is fully charged before use.
  • Reduce volume levels or disable unnecessary features if possible.
  • Battery life is rated for up to 30 hours; actual usage may vary.
