4. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Mounting: Securely attach the moving head light to a truss or stable surface using the provided quick locks and appropriate clamps (not included). Always use a safety cable as a secondary attachment. The fixture supports floor mount or suspension installation.
- Power Connection: Connect the included Powercon cable to the fixture's power input and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power source matches the fixture's voltage requirements (120V).
- DMX Connection (Optional): For DMX control, connect a DMX signal cable from your DMX controller to the fixture's DMX input. If linking multiple fixtures, connect the DMX output of the first fixture to the DMX input of the next, and so on.
- Initial Power On: Turn on the power. The LCD display on the base will illuminate, showing the current mode or DMX address.

5. Operating Modes
The SHEHDS 300W 3-in-1 LED Moving Head Light offers several operational modes:
- DMX512 Mode: Allows for precise control over all functions using a DMX controller. The fixture uses 19 DMX channels. Set the DMX address via the control panel. The DMX address will be retained even after power cycling.
- Auto Mode: The fixture runs through pre-programmed light shows automatically.
- Sound Control Mode: The light effects react to ambient sound or music detected by the built-in microphone.
- Stand Alone Mode: Operates independently without external control, using internal programs.
- Master/Slave Mode: Link multiple fixtures where one acts as the master, controlling the others (slaves) to synchronize effects.
- RDM (Remote Device Management): Enables two-way communication between the DMX controller and the fixture for remote addressing and monitoring.
Use the LCD display and navigation buttons (MENU, UP, DOWN, ENTER) on the base of the fixture to select and configure operating modes and settings.
