Setup and First Use
Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials from the box.
- Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
- Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
Before First Use
- Clean the cooking basket and crisper plate thoroughly with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry completely.
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Place the crisper plate inside the cooking basket. Insert the cooking basket back into the air fryer until it clicks into place.
- Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, ensuring at least 15 cm of clear space around the back and sides for proper ventilation.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 200°C (390°F) during the first use to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Ensure good ventilation.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview
The digital touch screen allows for easy selection of cooking modes, temperature, and time.
- Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
- Temperature Controls (+/-): Adjusts cooking temperature.
- Time Controls (+/-): Adjusts cooking time.
- Pre-set Program Icons: Select from 10 pre-defined cooking modes.
- Preheat Button: Activates the preheating function.
- Start/Pause Button: Begins or pauses the cooking cycle.
- Stop/Cancel Button: Stops the current cooking cycle.
- Turn Reminder: An audible reminder to shake or turn food (available on some programs).
Basic Operation
- Place food into the cooking basket, ensuring not to overfill. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Slide the cooking basket back into the air fryer until it clicks securely into place.
- Press the Power Button to turn on the display.
- Using Pre-set Programs:
- Tap the desired pre-set program icon (e.g., Fries, Chicken, Fish). The display will show the default temperature and time for that program.
- You can adjust the temperature and time using the +/- buttons if needed.
- Press the Start/Pause Button to begin cooking.
- Manual Operation:
- After turning on the display, use the Temperature +/- buttons to set the desired cooking temperature.
- Use the Time +/- buttons to set the desired cooking time.
- Press the Start/Pause Button to begin cooking.
- Preheating Function:
- Press the Preheat button. The air fryer will heat to a default temperature (usually 180-200°C) or the last set temperature.
- Once preheating is complete, the air fryer will beep. You can then add your food and start the cooking cycle.
- Dehydration Program:
- Select the Dehydration program icon. The default time for this program is 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Adjust the time as needed using the Time +/- buttons.
- Press the Start/Pause Button to begin the dehydration process.
- Monitoring Food: Use the viewing window to check on your food without interrupting the cooking process.
- Shaking/Turning Food: For even cooking, some recipes may require shaking or turning food halfway through. The air fryer may beep to remind you. Carefully pull out the basket, shake or turn the food, and reinsert the basket. The cooking will resume automatically.
- When cooking is complete, the air fryer will beep and automatically shut off. Carefully remove the basket using the cool-touch handle.
- Empty cooked food onto a plate. Allow the basket and crisper plate to cool before cleaning.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
- Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Cooking Basket and Crisper Plate:
- Remove the cooking basket and crisper plate.
- Wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak them in warm water for 10-15 minutes.
- The basket and crisper plate are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the non-stick coating.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
- Cleaning the Interior:
- Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- For baked-on food, a soft brush may be used.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
- Cleaning the Exterior:
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Ensure the air fryer is clean and dry before storing. Store it in a cool, dry place.
