Setup Guide
1. Placement
Place the sound bar on a stable, flat surface directly in front of your television. Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the sound bar for optimal sound projection. The compact design allows it to fit easily under most TVs without blocking the screen.

2. Connecting to Your TV
The TCL S45H offers multiple connection options:
- HDMI eARC (Recommended): Connect one end of the included HDMI cable to the HDMI (eARC) port on the sound bar and the other end to the HDMI ARC/eARC port on your TV. This connection allows for the highest quality audio and control of the sound bar volume using your TV remote.
- Digital Optical Audio: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC/eARC port, connect a digital optical cable (not included) from the OPTICAL port on the sound bar to the Optical Digital Audio Out port on your TV.
- Auxiliary (AUX): For older devices, connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from the AUX port on the sound bar to the audio output of your device.

3. Power Connection
Connect the included power cord to the DC-IN port on the sound bar and then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
4. Initial Power On and Pairing
Press the power button on the sound bar or the remote control to turn on the device. The sound bar will automatically attempt to connect to your TV via HDMI eARC. For Bluetooth pairing, press the Bluetooth button on the sound bar or remote, then select "TCL S45H" from your device's Bluetooth settings.

5. Wall Mounting (Optional)
The sound bar can be wall-mounted using the included wall installation kit. Use the provided wall mount template to mark drilling locations. Ensure the wall can support the weight of the sound bar and use appropriate hardware for your wall type.
Operating Instructions
Remote Control Functions
The included remote control provides full command over your sound bar's features:
- Power: Turns the sound bar on or off.
- Input Selection: Cycles through HDMI eARC, Optical, AUX, and Bluetooth inputs.
- Volume Control: Adjusts the master volume level.
- Mute: Mutes or unmutes the sound.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Initiates Bluetooth pairing mode.
- AI Sonic: Activates or deactivates the Ai Sonic Auto Room Calibration feature.
- Night Mode: Optimizes sound for late-night listening.
- Voice: Enhances dialogue clarity.
- SURR (Surround): Adjusts surround sound effect.
- Treble/Bass: Adjusts treble and bass levels.
- Sound Mode: Cycles through preset EQ modes (Music, Movie, Voice, Sports, Standard, Game).
USB Audio Playback
Insert a USB drive containing audio files (MP3, WAV, etc.) into the USB port on the sound bar. The sound bar will automatically switch to USB input and begin playback. Use the remote control to navigate tracks and control playback.
TCL Home App Integration
For advanced control and features, download the TCL Home app on your smartphone. The app allows for:
- Detailed sound settings and EQ adjustments.
- Activating and managing Ai Sonic Auto Room Calibration.
- Firmware updates for the sound bar.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your TCL S45H Sound Bar, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface of the sound bar with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.
- Ventilation: Ensure the sound bar has adequate ventilation. Do not block any vents or place it in an enclosed space that could restrict airflow.
- Power Cord: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Storage: If storing the sound bar for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
