5. Setup and Installation
The linear actuator requires a 12V DC power supply and a compatible controller for optimal operation. These components are sold separately.
5.1 Mounting
- Identify the desired mounting locations for the actuator and its brackets. Ensure the surface is stable and can support the actuator's weight and operational force.
- Attach the mounting brackets to your application using appropriate fasteners (screws provided).
- Secure the linear actuator to the installed mounting brackets using the R-type pins. Ensure the pins are fully inserted and secured.
5.2 Wiring Connection
Connect the actuator to a 12V DC power source and a controller as shown in the diagram below. Note that the power supply and controller are not included with the actuator and must be purchased separately.

Note: When two motors are controlled simultaneously, their operating speeds may differ and cannot be perfectly synchronized.
6. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and wired, the linear actuator can be operated via its connected controller. The actuator provides powerful and smooth linear motion for various applications.
6.1 Basic Operation
Use the controls on your external controller to extend or retract the actuator rod. The actuator is designed for frequent height adjustments and automated tasks.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your linear actuator.
- Cleaning: Keep the actuator clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Lubrication: The internal components are pre-lubricated. Do not attempt to lubricate the internal mechanism unless specifically instructed by VEVOR support.
- Inspection: Periodically check all mounting points and connections for tightness and wear.
- Environmental Protection: The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and splashing water. However, for consistent performance and extended lifespan, avoid outdoor use and prevent any water infiltration into the motor.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your linear actuator, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Actuator does not move:
- Check all power connections to ensure they are secure and receiving 12V DC.
- Verify that the controller is functioning correctly.
- Ensure the actuator is not overloaded beyond its 1000 N capacity.
- Actuator moves slowly or inconsistently:
- Check for obstructions or excessive friction in the application.
- Ensure the power supply can deliver sufficient current (5A recommended).
- The actuator may be operating near its maximum load.
- Unusual noise during operation:
- Inspect for loose mounting hardware.
- Check for any foreign objects interfering with the actuator's movement.
- If the noise persists and is abnormal, discontinue use and contact support.
