4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the UNERVER M12 vacuum sealer. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the device and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The display will indicate the charging status.

4.3 Jar Compatibility

The UNERVER M12 vacuum sealer features a split design, making it compatible with both regular mouth and wide mouth mason jars. Ensure you use the correct sealing base for your jar type.

• Regular Mouth Jars: Suitable for jars with a 2.75 inch (7 cm) opening.
• Wide Mouth Jars: Suitable for jars with a 3.4 inch (8.6 cm) opening.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing Jars and Lids

For optimal sealing, ensure your mason jars and lids are clean and dry. Use new, undamaged canning lids for best results. The included lids have a thickened silicone ring for superior sealing performance.

5.2 Vacuum Sealing Process

1. Place your food item into a clean, dry mason jar. Do not overfill; leave adequate headspace.
2. Place a new, clean canning lid onto the jar. Ensure the lid is centered and flat.
3. Select the appropriate sealing base (regular or wide mouth) for your jar and attach it to the main vacuum sealer unit if it's not already assembled.
4. Place the assembled vacuum sealer unit firmly onto the canning lid on the jar. Ensure it is seated securely and evenly.
5. Press the Start Button. The device will begin to vacuum the air out of the jar.
6. The vacuum sealer will automatically stop once the optimal vacuum level is achieved. This typically takes a few seconds.
7. Carefully remove the vacuum sealer from the jar. The lid should now be securely sealed and concave.
8. To open a sealed jar, use the provided jar lid opener to gently pry the lid.
