4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
  2. Placement: Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around all sides for proper ventilation. Do not place it near heat sources or flammable materials.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet matches the voltage requirements of the cooktop.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button (On/Off icon) to turn the cooktop on or off. The display will light up when powered on.
  2. Place Cookware: Place induction-compatible cookware with food on the center of the cooking zone.
  3. Select Function/Adjust Power:
    • Press the FUNCTION button to cycle through pre-set cooking modes (e.g., BBQ, Fry, Hot Pot, Soup, Water, Warm).
    • Alternatively, use the UP (+) and DOWN (-) buttons to manually adjust the power level (9 stages available).
  4. Timer Function: Press the TIMER button (Timer icon) to set a cooking duration. Use the UP (+) and DOWN (-) buttons to adjust the time. The cooktop will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
  5. Lock Function: Press the LOCK button (Lock icon) to lock the control panel, preventing accidental changes during cooking or cleaning. Press again to unlock.

5.2 Cookware Compatibility

The Gaabor EF-200T works only with induction-compatible cookware. To check if your cookware is compatible, hold a magnet to the bottom of the pot or pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.

Compatible Cookware Materials: Cast iron, enamel iron, stainless steel with a magnetic bottom, flat-bottomed pots/pans with a diameter between 12 cm and 26 cm.

Incompatible Cookware Materials: Ceramic, glass, aluminum, copper, or any non-magnetic materials.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your cooktop and ensure optimal performance.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always turn off the cooktop and unplug it from the power outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Glass Surface: Wipe the tempered glass surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  3. Control Panel: Wipe the touch control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use excessive water or abrasive cleaners.
