Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Keep this manual for future reference.
General Safety
- Read all instructions: Familiarize yourself with the controls and proper use of the tool.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE): This includes safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask, and heavy-duty gloves.
- Maintain a safe work area: Keep the area clean, well-lit, and free from obstructions. Ensure children and bystanders are kept away.
- Avoid hazardous environments: Do not use power tools in damp or wet locations, or expose them to rain.
- Secure the workpiece: Always clamp or secure the material being cut to prevent movement during operation.
- Inspect the tool before use: Check for damaged parts, loose connections, or any other condition that may affect safe operation.
- Unplug the tool: Always disconnect the power supply before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or performing maintenance.
Electrical Safety
- Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI): This tool is equipped with a GFCI built into the cord. Always ensure the GFCI is functioning correctly before use, especially during wet cutting operations.
- Avoid electrical shock: Do not touch grounded surfaces. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts.
- Use proper extension cords: If an extension cord is necessary, ensure it is rated for outdoor use and has the appropriate gauge for the tool's amperage.
Specific Saw Safety
- Blade not included: Ensure a suitable 16-inch cutting blade is securely installed before operation. Refer to the blade manufacturer's instructions for proper installation.
- Double Protection Switch: The saw features a double protection switch to prevent accidental startup. Always engage this safety feature when the saw is not in use.
- Adjustable Blade Guard: Ensure the blade guard is properly adjusted for the cutting depth and secured before starting the saw.
- Water Line Use: When performing wet cuts, ensure the water line is properly connected and supplying water to minimize dust and cool the blade.
- Dust Port Use: When performing dry cuts, ensure the dust port is clear and, if possible, connected to a dust extraction system to manage debris.

4. Setup
4.1 Blade Installation (Blade Not Included)
- Ensure the saw is unplugged from the power source.
- Locate the blade guard and the arbor nut.
- Using the provided wrench, loosen and remove the arbor nut and outer flange.
- Carefully place a 16-inch cutting blade onto the arbor, ensuring the rotation arrow on the blade matches the rotation arrow on the saw.
- Replace the outer flange and arbor nut, then tighten securely with the wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Ensure the blade spins freely without obstruction.
4.2 Water Feed Attachment Installation
- Connect the water feed attachment hose to the designated inlet on the saw.
- Secure the hose connection to prevent leaks.
- Attach the other end of the water feed hose to a standard garden hose or water supply with a 3/4" fitting.
- Ensure the water flow control valve is in the closed position until ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting and Stopping the Saw
- Double Protection Switch: To start the saw, first engage the safety lock-off button, then press the main trigger switch.
- To stop the saw, release the trigger switch. The blade will coast to a stop.
- Always ensure the GFCI is reset and functioning before plugging in the saw.

5.2 Wet Cutting Operation
Wet cutting is recommended for most concrete and masonry applications to reduce dust, cool the blade, and extend blade life.
- Ensure the water feed attachment is properly connected to a water source and the saw.
- Open the water flow control valve to allow water to flow to the blade. Adjust the flow as needed to create a consistent stream over the cutting area.
- Start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the saw. Let the blade do the work.
- Maintain a clear view of the cutting line.
- After completing the cut, release the trigger, allow the blade to stop, and close the water flow valve.
5.3 Dry Cutting Operation
Dry cutting should only be performed with appropriate dust masks and in well-ventilated areas. Consider connecting a dust extraction system to the dust port.
- Ensure the dust port is clear of debris. If available, connect a dust extraction system.
- Start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Avoid prolonged cutting without breaks to prevent overheating of the blade and motor.
- Monitor dust levels and ensure adequate ventilation.
- After completing the cut, release the trigger and allow the blade to stop.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your saw. Always unplug the tool before performing any maintenance.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the saw thoroughly. Remove dust and debris from the motor housing, blade guard, and dust port. Use a damp cloth; do not use solvents.
- Blade Inspection: Regularly inspect the cutting blade for wear, cracks, or damage. Replace worn or damaged blades immediately.
- Water Line: Flush the water line after wet cutting to prevent mineral buildup. Check hoses and connections for leaks or damage.
- Carbon Brushes: The motor uses carbon brushes which will wear down over time. If the saw experiences reduced power or intermittent operation, the brushes may need replacement. Refer to the included replacement carbon brushes and consult a qualified technician if unsure.
- Cord and GFCI: Inspect the power cord and GFCI for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. Do not use the saw if the cord or GFCI is damaged.
- Storage: Store the saw in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.
