6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Dry Ironing Mode
- Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam function is not activated.
- Place the garment on a flat, heat-resistant ironing surface.
- Hold the steamer by its handle and gently glide the hot plate over the fabric to remove wrinkles.
- For delicate fabrics, consider using a pressing cloth.
6.2. Steam Ironing Mode
- Ensure the water tank is filled as described in the Setup section.
- Activate Steam:

Press the steam button to release a continuous jet of steam. The steamer will warm up in 5 seconds.
- Vertical Steaming: Hang the garment on a hanger. Hold the steamer upright, keeping the steam plate a few inches from the fabric. Move the steamer slowly downwards, allowing the steam to penetrate and relax the fibers.
- Horizontal Steaming (with steam): For more stubborn wrinkles, you can use the steam function while ironing horizontally on an ironing board.
- Fabric Care: Always check the garment's care label before steaming. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank after each use.
- Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- To clean the soleplate, wipe it with a damp cloth while the iron is cool. Do not use metallic scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
7.2. Descaling (if necessary)
If you notice mineral buildup or reduced steam output, descaling may be required. Use a solution of equal parts white vinegar and distilled water. Fill the tank with this solution, heat the steamer, and allow it to steam for a few minutes. Then, empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat with clean water until no vinegar smell remains.
7.3. Storage
- Ensure the steamer is completely cool and dry before storing.
