Safety Guidelines

  • The unit is equipped with an Automatic Total Stop System (TSS) which automatically shuts off the pump when the trigger is not engaged, saving energy and prolonging pump life.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Homdox HD4000 Pressure Washer:

  1. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the wheel assembly to the main unit. The unit features 4 quick-locking wheels for stability and easy movement.
  2. Install Handle: Insert the handle into the designated slots on the top of the main unit until it clicks into place.
  3. Connect Detergent Bottle: Attach the detergent bottle to its holder on the unit.
  4. Connect High Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the high-pressure hose to the water outlet on the pressure washer and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight.
  5. Assemble Spray Gun and Lance: Connect the lance to the spray gun, then attach the adjustable nozzle to the lance.
  6. Connect Water Inlet: Connect your garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer.
  7. Plug in Power Cord: Plug the GFCI-equipped power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Connecting Water Supply

The Homdox HD4000 supports multiple methods for water intake:

  • Faucet Connection: Connect a standard garden hose to the pressure washer's water inlet and to a household faucet.
  • Bucket Self-Priming: Place the water inlet hose into a bucket of clean water. Ensure the hose remains submerged.
  • Pool Self-Priming: Place the water inlet hose into a pool or other large water source. Ensure the hose remains submerged.

Note: Always ensure a continuous and adequate water supply before starting the unit.

Adjusting the Nozzle

The Homdox HD4000 features an adjustable gimbaled nozzle. Rotate the nozzle to select your desired spray pattern:

  • Narrow Fan: For concentrated, high-impact cleaning.
  • Wide Fan: For broader coverage and general cleaning.
  • Foam Mode: For applying detergent with the foam cannon.

Starting the Pressure Washer

  1. Ensure the water supply is fully open.
  2. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
  3. Release the safety lock on the spray gun.
  4. Squeeze the trigger to begin spraying. Allow a few seconds for air to purge from the system and for water to flow steadily.

Stopping the Pressure Washer

  1. Release the trigger on the spray gun. The Total Stop System (TSS) will automatically shut off the pump.
  2. Engage the safety lock on the spray gun.
  3. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.
  4. Turn off the water supply.
  5. Squeeze the trigger briefly to release any remaining pressure in the system.

Using Detergent

  1. Fill the detergent bottle with appropriate pressure washer detergent.
  2. Attach the detergent bottle to the spray gun or designated port.
  3. Select "Foam Mode" on the adjustable nozzle.
  4. Apply detergent to the cleaning surface.
  5. After applying detergent, switch back to a rinse mode (Narrow or Wide Fan) and rinse the surface thoroughly.

Care and Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

  • Cleaning: After each use, clean the exterior of the pressure washer with a damp cloth.
  • Nozzle Maintenance: If the nozzle becomes clogged, use the provided cleaning pin to clear any debris from the nozzle opening.
  • Hose and Connections: Regularly inspect the high-pressure hose and all connections for wear, damage, or leaks. Replace damaged parts immediately.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free area. Drain all water from the pump and hoses before storing to prevent damage from freezing.
