4. Setup
4.1 Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:

4.2 Connecting Power
The M4 Pocket supports two types of power input:
- XT60 DC Input: Connect a DC power supply with an XT60 connector to the XT60 input port on the charger. Ensure the input voltage is between 7.0V and 25.0V.
- USB-C Input: Connect a USB-C power adapter (supporting QC, PD, AFC, FCP protocols) to the USB-C input port. Ensure the input voltage is between 7.0V and 20.0V.
The charger will power on automatically once a valid power source is connected.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 User Interface Navigation
The M4 Pocket features a single multi-function button for navigation and selection. Press the button to cycle through options, and long-press to confirm or enter menus.
5.2 Charging a Battery
- Connect Battery: Connect your 1-4S LiPo, LiHv, LiFe, or LipoStorage battery to the appropriate XT30 or XT60 output port on the charger. Ensure the balance lead is also connected to the balance port if performing a balanced charge.
- Select Battery Type: The charger will automatically detect the cell count. Verify the battery type (LiPo, LiHv, LiFe, LipoStorage) on the display and adjust if necessary using the navigation button.
- Set Charge Current: Adjust the charge current (1.0A to 5.0A) to suit your battery's specifications. It is generally recommended not to exceed 1C (one times the battery's capacity in Ah) for charging.
- Start Charging: Confirm the settings to begin the charging process. The display will show real-time charging status, including voltage, current, and charged capacity.
- Completion: The charger will automatically stop when the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the battery safely.
5.3 Using as a Power Bank (USB-C Output)
The M4 Pocket can also function as a power bank to charge mobile devices via its USB-C output port.
- Connect your mobile device to the USB-C output port using a compatible USB-C cable.
- The charger will provide 5.0V at 1.0A to charge your device.

6. Maintenance
- Keep the charger clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
