1. Product Overview

The eKids Bluey Dance Mode Music Player is a musical toy designed for toddlers aged 36 months to 6 years. It features graphics inspired by the popular Bluey series and offers two interactive play modes: Music Mode and Game Mode.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The Bluey Dance Mode Music Player requires 3 AA batteries. These batteries are typically included with the product for initial use.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
2. Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

2.2 Powering On and Mode Selection

On the back of the unit, you will find an ON/OFF/DEMO switch and a volume switch (LO/MED/HI).

• To power on the device, slide the ON/OFF/DEMO switch to the "ON" position.
• Adjust the volume using the LO/MED/HI switch to your preferred level.
• The device will typically start in a default mode or prompt for selection.

3. Operating Instructions

The Bluey Dance Mode Music Player offers two primary interactive modes: Music Mode and Game Mode.

3.1 Music Mode

In Music Mode, you can enjoy 4 built-in songs from the Bluey series. These include 'Keepy Uppy', 'Copycat', and the 'Bluey Theme Song'.

• To enter Music Mode, use the mode selection buttons on the front of the unit (indicated by a music note icon).
• Press the song selection buttons to cycle through the available built-in songs.
• The light-up graphics will flash in sync with the music.

3.2 Game Mode (Musical Statues)

Engage in the classic Musical Statues game with friends and family. In this mode, the music automatically stops and starts, prompting players to freeze in place.

• To enter Game Mode, use the mode selection buttons on the front of the unit (indicated by a character icon).
• The music will play, and then pause randomly. When the music stops, all players must freeze.
• The light-up graphics will also respond to the music's start and stop.

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the music player, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or electronic components. Do not immerse the unit in water.

4.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the music player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for several months to prevent leakage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Sound or Intermittent Sound

• Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace with fresh AA batteries if necessary.
• Volume Level: Verify that the volume switch on the back of the unit is not set to "LO" or "OFF". Adjust to "MED" or "HI".
• Power Cycle: Turn the unit off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

5.2 Lights Not Flashing

• Check Mode: Ensure the unit is in either Music Mode or Game Mode, as lights are designed to flash during active play.
• Battery Level: Low battery power can sometimes affect light functionality before sound. Replace batteries.
