3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The camera uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Ensure the battery is charged before first use.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert the battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated by the diagram inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely.

3.2 Memory Card Installation

A memory card (up to 128GB, not included) is required to store photos and videos.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover (which also houses the SD card slot).
  2. Insert the SD card into the designated slot with the metal contacts facing the correct direction, as shown in the diagram. Push until it clicks into place.
  3. Close the cover.

3.3 Charging the Battery

Use the provided USB data cable to charge the camera.

  1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the camera's USB jack.
  2. Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. Disconnect once fully charged.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button to turn the camera on or off.

4.2 Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera. The LCD screen will display the live view.
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Use the zoom controls (if available) to adjust the 8x digital zoom.
  4. Press the Shutter button halfway to focus, then press fully to take the picture.

4.3 Recording Videos

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Press the Down/Video button to switch to video recording mode.
  3. Press the Shutter button to start recording. Press it again to stop recording.

4.4 Playback Mode

To view your photos and videos:

  1. Press the Right/Playback button to enter playback mode.
  2. Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to browse through your media.
  3. Press the Right/Playback button again to exit playback mode.

4.5 Data Transfer

To transfer files to a computer:

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the USB data cable.
  2. The camera will appear as a removable disk on your computer.
  3. Drag and drop files from the camera's memory card to your computer.
