1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your VAYINATO WB-1770 Multi-Functional Submersible Aquarium Internal Filter. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of the product. Retain this manual for future reference.
2. Product Features
The VAYINATO WB-1770 filter is designed for versatility and efficiency in maintaining a healthy aquatic environment.
- Two Ways of Use: Functions as an internal filter or a waterfall filter when placed vertically in a fish tank. Can also be used as a low-water turtle filter when placed horizontally.
- Internal Circulation Filtration: Features a multi-layer filter box with coarse cotton for effective absorption of fish waste and debris. The filter box allows for replacement with other filter media such as ceramic balls or filter stones.
- Adjustable Flow Control: Water flow can be freely adjusted using a regulating valve. Indicators (large triangle for high flow, small triangle for low flow) assist in setting the desired rate. Includes sprinkler pipes for even water distribution and adjustable direction.
- Multifunctional Use: Equipped with two types of water outlets and a trachea, allowing easy switching between oxygenation and filtration functions by replacing oxygen outlet fittings. Note: Aeration accessories are not required for low water level filter operation.
- Suitable for Fresh and Salt Water: The filter pump secures to the aquarium wall with six suction cups. The exhaust pipe can swivel up to 90 degrees, and an integrated cleaning slider allows for cleaning without removing the filter from the aquarium.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble and install your VAYINATO WB-1770 filter:
- Assemble Filter Unit: Attach the filtering sponge(s) to the power head, then secure the bottom cover. Ensure all parts are fitted snugly.
- Attach Shower Pipe: Connect the shower pipe (spray bar) to the designated outlet on the power head.
- Connect Air Intake Tube: If oxygenation is desired, connect the air intake tube to the small nozzle on the power head. Ensure the other end of the tube is positioned above the water surface.
- Position in Aquarium:
- For internal or waterfall filter use, place the unit vertically inside the aquarium.
- For low-water turtle filter use, place the unit horizontally.
- Secure with Suction Cups: Press the six suction cups firmly against the inner glass wall of the aquarium to secure the filter in place. Ensure a strong adhesion to prevent dislodgement.
- Submerge Filter: Ensure the entire filter unit is fully submerged in water before powering on.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the filter is properly installed and submerged, you can begin operation.
- Power On: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The filter will start operating immediately.
- Adjust Flow Rate: Rotate the knob on the regulating valve to adjust the water flow. Turn towards the large triangle for higher flow or towards the small triangle for lower flow.
- Adjust Spray Bar Direction: The 360° rotatable spray bar allows you to direct the water flow as needed for optimal circulation and aeration.
- Oxygenation Function: If the air intake tube is connected, air will be drawn into the water, increasing oxygen content. To switch between filtration and oxygenation, ensure the correct outlet fitting is used. For filtration only, remove the air intake tube.
- Power Off: To stop the filter, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the efficient operation and longevity of your filter.
- Weekly Cleaning (Filter Media):
- Unplug the filter from the power outlet.
- Carefully remove the filter unit from the aquarium.
- Disassemble the bottom cover and remove the filtering sponge(s).
- Rinse the coarse cotton sponge(s) thoroughly with old aquarium water (not tap water, to preserve beneficial bacteria) until clean.
- If using other filter media, rinse or replace as necessary.
- Reassemble the filter and reinstall it in the aquarium.
- Monthly Cleaning (Unit Housing):
- Unplug the filter and remove it from the aquarium.
- Use the integrated cleaning slider to clean the exhaust pipe without full disassembly.
- Wipe down the exterior of the power head and other components to remove algae or debris.
- Ensure the impeller is free of obstructions.
- Suction Cup Check: Periodically check the suction cups for firm adhesion. Clean them and the aquarium glass if they lose grip.
