5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation (Remote Control)
The remote controls use CR2032 lithium coin cell batteries. If batteries are not pre-installed or need replacement:

- Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

5.2. Initial Setup and Pre-pairing
The G-Homa outlets and remote controls are typically pre-paired at the factory for immediate use. Simply plug an outlet into a wall socket and connect your appliance. You should be able to control it using the corresponding channel buttons on the remote control.
5.3. Custom Pairing or Re-pairing
If you need to pair an outlet with a different remote channel, or if pairing is lost, follow these steps:
- Plug the G-Homa outlet into a wall socket.
- Press and hold the small learning button on the side of the outlet until its indicator light begins to flash slowly.
- While the indicator light is flashing, press the desired 'ON' button (e.g., 'ON-1', 'ON-2') on the remote control.
- The outlet's indicator light will flash rapidly and then turn off, indicating successful pairing.
- Test the pairing by pressing the 'ON' and 'OFF' buttons for that channel on the remote.
To unpair an outlet from a remote channel, follow steps 1 and 2, then press the desired 'OFF' button on the remote control. The light will flash rapidly and turn off, indicating successful unpairing.

6.2. Manual Control
Each outlet has a manual ON/OFF button. Press this button to toggle the power state of the connected appliance directly at the outlet.
6.3. Operating Range

7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
To clean the outlets and remote controls, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the product or create an electrical hazard.
7.2. Battery Replacement (Remote Control)
If the remote control's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, the battery may need replacement. Refer to Section 5.1 for battery installation instructions. Use only CR2032 batteries.
8. Troubleshooting
- Outlet not responding to remote:
- Check if the remote control battery is depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the remote is within the 30-meter operating range.
- Verify that the outlet is properly paired with the remote channel. If not, perform the custom pairing procedure (Section 5.3).
- Ensure the outlet is securely plugged into a live wall socket.
- Appliance not turning on when outlet is activated:
- Check if the appliance itself is switched on and functioning correctly.
- Ensure the appliance's power consumption does not exceed the outlet's maximum rating (2300W/10A).
- Interference with other devices:
- The G-Homa system is designed to be non-interfering. If you experience issues, try repositioning the outlet or remote.
- Outlets remain off after power outage:
- This is a safety feature. The outlets are designed to remain in the OFF position after a power interruption to prevent unexpected activation of connected devices. You will need to manually turn them ON using the remote or the button on the outlet.
