Zinus Dachelle Upholstered Platform Bed Frame

Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Zinus Dachelle Upholstered Platform Bed Frame. Designed for comfort and durability, this bed frame features a modern dark grey upholstery with a button-tufted headboard, sturdy steel and wood construction, and wood slat support, eliminating the need for a box spring. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use.

Setup

Your Zinus Dachelle Upholstered Platform Bed Frame is designed for easy, two-person assembly. All necessary tools and instructions are conveniently packed within the WonderBox(TM) packaging, which is engineered to reduce its carbon footprint.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully open the WonderBox(TM) packaging. All parts, hardware, and tools are typically stored within a zippered compartment in the headboard.
2. Identify Parts: Refer to the included detailed instructions and diagrams to identify each component. While pieces may not be individually numbered, the diagrams will guide you.
3. Assemble Frame: Follow the step-by-step instructions to connect the frame components using the provided ratcheting hex wrench and other tools. Ensure all connections are secure.
4. Install Slats: Place the durable wood slats onto the frame. These slats are designed to support your mattress directly, negating the need for a box spring. Some models feature Velcro to secure slats in place for noise-free use.
5. Final Checks: Verify that all bolts are tightened and the frame is stable before placing your mattress.

Operating

The Dachelle Platform Bed Frame provides a stable and comfortable foundation for your mattress without the need for a box spring. Its durable design supports various mattress types, including spring, memory foam, or latex.

• No Box Spring Required: The robust wood slats provide ample support for your mattress.
• Sturdy Construction: An interior steel and wood framework combined with dense foam padding ensures comfort and longevity.
• Weight Capacity: The Queen size frame supports up to 700 lbs.
• Padded Headboard: The upholstered, button-tufted headboard offers a comfortable backrest.

Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bed frame.

• Cleaning: Spot clean only. Do not use harsh chemicals or excessive water, as this may damage the upholstery and materials.
• Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the upholstery fabric to fade.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your bed frame, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Squeaking Noises: If the bed frame begins to squeak, re-tighten all assembly bolts. Ensure the wooden slats are properly seated and secured (if applicable, check Velcro strips).
• Instability: If the frame feels unstable, double-check that all connections are fully tightened and that the legs are evenly placed on the floor.
• Mattress Shifting: The design includes features to minimize mattress movement. Ensure your mattress is correctly positioned on the slats.
