Maintenance
- Cleaning: For the velvet upholstery, dry clean only. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For general dusting, use a soft, dry cloth.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if any looseness is detected to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Avoid Moisture: Keep the bed frame away from excessive moisture or direct sunlight to prevent damage to the fabric and wood components.
- Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the bed to prevent undue stress on the slats and frame.
Troubleshooting
- Squeaking Noises: If the bed frame makes squeaking noises, check all assembly bolts and screws. Tighten any loose connections. Ensure slats are properly seated and secured.
- Unstable Frame: If the frame feels unstable, re-verify that all connections are correctly assembled and tightened according to the instructions. Ensure the center support legs are firmly on the ground.
- Slats Shifting: If wooden slats shift or move, ensure they are properly screwed into the side rails as instructed. If screws are stripped, replace them with slightly larger ones or reposition the slat slightly.
- Headboard Wobble: Ensure the headboard is securely attached to the side rails and all bolts are fully tightened.
