- OFF/CHIME/ALARM Switch: Located on the side of the main unit to select operating mode.
- Battery Compartment: Located on the back of the main unit.
- Mounting Plate: Integrated into the back of the main unit for adhesive attachment.
4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your VOXON Door and Window Alarm:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the mounting surface on your door, window, or frame is clean, dry, and smooth. Wipe away any dust or grease.
- Attach Adhesive Tapes: Peel the protective backing from one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and firmly apply it to the back of the main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor.
- Position the Units:
- Place the main alarm unit on the door or window frame.
- Place the magnetic sensor on the moving part of the door or window, directly adjacent to the main alarm unit.
- Ensure Correct Alignment: Align the arrows on both the main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor. The two units must be positioned so that the gap between them is less than 0.78 inches (2 cm) when the door or window is closed.
- Secure the Units: Once aligned, peel the remaining protective backing from the adhesive tapes and firmly press both units onto the prepared surface for at least 30 seconds.

Important: The alarm will only function correctly if the main unit and magnetic sensor are aligned with their arrows and the gap between them is less than 0.78 inches (2 cm) when the door/window is closed.
5. Operating Instructions
The VOXON Door and Window Alarm features a simple three-position switch for operation:
- OFF: In this position, the alarm is deactivated. No sound will be produced when the door or window opens.
- CHIME: When set to CHIME, the alarm will emit a pleasant chime sound each time the door or window is opened. This mode is suitable for monitoring entry/exit without a loud alarm.
- ALARM: In ALARM mode, if the door or window is opened (separating the main unit and magnet by more than 0.78 inches / 2 cm), a loud 100dB siren will sound continuously until the door or window is closed again.

To select a mode, simply slide the switch on the side of the main alarm unit to your desired setting.
6. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The alarms are powered by LR44 batteries. If the alarm volume decreases or the unit stops functioning, it may be time to replace the batteries. To replace, carefully open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, remove the old batteries, and insert new LR44 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the alarm units. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the casing or internal components.
- Adhesive Check: Periodically check the adhesive tapes to ensure the units remain securely attached to the surface. Reapply or replace adhesive if necessary.
