Setup
1. Powering On
The Karlsson Spry Tube LED Alarm Clock can be powered via a USB cable. It also has a battery compartment for backup power (batteries not included).
- Connect the provided USB power cable to the DC 5V input port on the back of the clock.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port) or a wall outlet with a USB adapter.
- The LED display will light up, indicating the clock is powered on.
- For backup power, insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the clock. This will maintain time settings during power outages.
2. Initial Time Setting
Upon first power-on, you may need to set the correct time.
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will start flashing.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the SET button again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the minute.
- Press the SET button one more time to confirm the minute and exit time setting mode.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Alarm
- From normal time display, press the SET button once briefly to cycle to alarm setting mode. The display will show "AL" and the current alarm time.
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the SET button again to confirm the alarm hour and move to alarm minute setting. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm minute.
- Press the SET button one more time to confirm the alarm minute and exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, briefly press the UP button while in normal time display. An alarm icon (e.g., a bell) will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press any button (except RESET) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 5 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, press the RESET button or let it ring for 60 seconds without interaction.
Display Brightness Adjustment
The clock may have multiple brightness levels. Briefly press the DOWN button while in normal time display to cycle through available brightness settings (e.g., Bright, Medium, Dim, Off).
Maintenance
- Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the backup batteries to prevent leakage.
- Ensure the power cable is not bent or damaged.
Troubleshooting
