WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Secure the shelter to a stable foundation using the provided anchoring kit, foot plates, and wind ropes. Inadequate anchoring can lead to collapse in adverse weather conditions.
  • Handle all components with care during assembly and disassembly to prevent injury. Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves, if necessary.
  • Adhere to any specified weight limits for items stored within the carport. Overloading can compromise structural integrity.
  • Do not use the carport in extreme weather conditions, including heavy snow, strong winds, or severe thunderstorms. Disassemble or reinforce the structure as needed during such events.
  • Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
  • Regularly inspect the carport for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Address issues promptly.

4. Setup Instructions

Assembly typically requires two or more people. Choose a level, clear area for installation.

  1. Frame Assembly:
    • Connect the metal frame poles using the spring button connectors and joint fittings. Ensure all connections are secure.
    • Assemble the roof frame first, then attach the vertical support poles.
    • Ensure the frame is square and level before proceeding.
  2. Cover Installation:
    • Carefully drape the main PE fabric cover over the assembled roof frame. Ensure it is centered and evenly distributed.
    • Attach the cover to the frame using the elastic buckles or ties provided.
    • Install the sidewalls and end doors. The sidewalls are removable and can be attached as needed for privacy or protection.
    • The front and back doors feature double zippers and buckles for secure closure and can be rolled up for ventilation or access.
  3. Anchoring:
    • Secure the carport to the ground using the foot plates and ground nails/stakes at each base pole.
    • Attach the wind ropes to the designated points on the frame and secure them firmly to the ground using additional stakes. This is crucial for stability, especially in windy conditions.

5. Operating Instructions

The GOJOOASIS Carport is designed for versatile use, offering protection and storage for various items.

  • Vehicle Protection: Park cars, trucks, or other vehicles inside to shield them from sun, rain, and other elements. The 10x20 ft dimensions provide ample space for most standard vehicles.
  • Storage: Utilize the enclosed space for storing equipment, tools, firewood, or other outdoor items.
  • Ventilation and Access: The front and back doors can be unzipped and rolled up, then secured with buckles, to allow for easy access and improved airflow.
  • Removable Sidewalls: For events or situations requiring more open space and ventilation, the sidewalls can be removed. This transforms the carport into a canopy tent.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the PE fabric cover periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the material or its UV protective coating. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Inspection: Regularly check all frame connections, spring buttons, and joint fittings to ensure they remain tight and secure. Tighten any loose connections.
  • Fabric Inspection: Inspect the fabric cover for any tears, punctures, or signs of wear. Small damages should be repaired promptly to prevent them from worsening.
  • Anchoring System: Verify that ground nails/stakes and wind ropes are securely in place, especially after strong winds or heavy rain. Re-secure if necessary.
  • Winter Care: In areas with heavy snowfall, it is recommended to remove snow accumulation from the roof to prevent structural collapse. Consider disassembling the carport for winter storage in regions with severe weather.
