1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the AULA F75 Pro Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. This 75% hot-swappable custom keyboard is designed for both gaming and office use, offering versatile connectivity options, vibrant RGB backlighting, and a comfortable typing experience. This manual provides detailed instructions to help you set up, operate, and maintain your new keyboard.

3. Setup

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and a power source (e.g., computer USB port or wall adapter).

3.1. Connection Modes

The AULA F75 Pro supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C wired. You can switch between these modes using the switch located on the side of the keyboard.

3.1.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection
  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver in the keyboard's storage slot.
  2. Set the mode switch on the keyboard to '2.4G'.
  3. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard will automatically connect.
3.1.2. Bluetooth 5.0 Connection
  1. Set the mode switch on the keyboard to 'BT'.
  2. Press and hold FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3 for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for 'AULA F75 Pro'.
  4. Select the keyboard to pair. The indicator light will become solid once connected.
  5. You can pair up to three Bluetooth devices and switch between them by pressing FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3.
3.1.3. USB-C Wired Connection
  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. RGB Backlighting

The AULA F75 Pro features 16.8 million RGB lighting colors with 16 pre-set lighting effects and 10 music rhythm lighting effects (via driver). You can adjust brightness and speed using the multi-function knob or FN key combinations.

  • Adjust Brightness: Rotate the knob (in gaming mode) or use FN + ↑ (increase) / FN + ↓ (decrease).
  • Adjust Speed: Use FN + ← (decrease) / FN + → (increase).
  • Switch Lighting Effects: Click the knob (in gaming mode) or use FN + \|.
  • Turn Off Backlight: Use FN + \| repeatedly until the backlight turns off.

4.2. Multi-function Control Knob

The knob on the AULA F75 Pro allows for quick control of media and lighting functions, switching between Gaming Mode and Office Mode.

  • Switch Modes: Long press the knob for approximately 5 seconds to toggle between Gaming Mode and Office Mode.
  • Gaming Mode:
    • Rotate: Adjust backlight brightness.

4.3. Hot-Swappable Switches

The AULA F75 Pro features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing you to easily change switches without soldering. It supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches.

  1. Using the provided keycap puller, gently remove the desired keycap.
  2. Using the provided switch puller, carefully grip the switch and pull it straight up to remove it from the PCB.
  3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
  4. Gently push the new switch down until it clicks into place.
  5. Replace the keycap.

4.4. Side-Printed PBT Keycaps

The keyboard comes with durable side-printed PBT keycaps. These keycaps are made using double injection molding and heat sublimation processes, ensuring longevity, resistance to fading and sweat, and a soft touch. The side printing allows the keyboard's backlight to illuminate the legends effectively.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard Not Responding:
    • Ensure the keyboard is charged.
    • Check the connection mode switch (2.4G, BT, USB-C) and ensure it matches your intended connection.
    • For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in. Try a different USB port.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired correctly and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Try re-pairing.
    • For wired, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
  • RGB Backlight Not Working/Incorrect:
    • Check if the backlight is turned off (press FN + \|).
