Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the keyboard's performance and appearance.
- Keycaps: Use the included keycap puller to remove keycaps. Clean them with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then rinse and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
- Keyboard Body: Wipe the keyboard body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Between Keys: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the switches.
2. Battery Care
The V6 Max is equipped with a 4000 mAh rechargeable Li-polymer battery. To maximize battery lifespan:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place if not used for extended periods.
- Charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable connected to a standard USB power source.

Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not connecting wirelessly: Ensure the keyboard is switched to the correct wireless mode (2.4 GHz or Bluetooth) and that the receiver is properly plugged in for 2.4 GHz, or Bluetooth is enabled on your device for Bluetooth mode. Try re-pairing the device.
- Keys not registering or registering multiple times: This can sometimes be resolved by cleaning under the keycaps or by replacing the switch if it is faulty. Ensure switches are fully seated.
- Battery draining quickly: Reduce RGB backlight brightness or turn it off when not needed. Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. Battery performance can degrade over time with heavy use.
- Key remapping issues: Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C when using the Keychron Launcher web app. Verify the OS switch is set correctly.
