2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting the Wallbox
The wallbox can be mounted indoors or outdoors. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and capable of supporting the unit's weight (5.1 kg without cable). The unit dimensions are (W) 244 mm x (H) 352 mm x (D) 107 mm.

4.2 Electrical Connection
The charging station requires a three-phase (3P+N) power supply. It operates at 16A at 400VAC with a frequency of 50Hz/60Hz. It is compatible with TN-S, TT, or IT grounding systems.
Connect the power supply according to the wiring diagram provided in the full installation guide (not included in this manual) and local electrical regulations. The integrated RDC-DD (Residual Direct Current Detecting Device) provides protection against DC fault currents.
4.3 App Integration (Wiser Home)
The Schneider Charge can be connected to the Wiser Home app for enhanced control and monitoring. This allows for remote control, real-time insights, and scheduling of charging sessions.
- Download the Schneider Electric Wiser Home mobile application from your device's app store.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add and configure your Schneider Charge wallbox.
- The charging station can connect to your internet home router via Wi-Fi or an RJ45 Ethernet cable.

The charging station can also integrate into Schneider Electric HEMS (Home Energy Management System) for comprehensive energy monitoring.
5. Operation
Operating the Schneider Charge is straightforward, whether directly or via the Wiser Home app.
5.1 Initiating a Charge
- Ensure your electric vehicle is parked safely near the charging station.
- Take the T2 charging cable plug from the wallbox and insert it into your vehicle's charging port.
- The charging process will typically start automatically. The LED indicator on the wallbox will change color to show the charging status.

5.2 LED Indicator Status
The LED on the charging station indicates its current status:
- Blue: Standby or connected to the app.
- Green: Charging in progress.

5.3 Using the Wiser Home App
The Wiser Home app allows you to:
- Start and stop charging remotely.
- Monitor charging status and energy consumption in real-time.
- Schedule charging sessions to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates or PV surplus charging.
- Adjust the maximum power assigned to the charging vehicle based on household consumption.
The charging station also supports the OCPP 1.6 communication protocol for connection to third-party cloud monitoring devices.
6. Maintenance
The Schneider Charge is designed for minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning and inspection are recommended.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the charging station with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is powered off before cleaning.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the charging cable and plug for any signs of wear, damage, or fraying. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and contact a qualified electrician for repair or replacement.
