2. Setup
2.1 What's in the Box
- runofast 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera

2.2 Initial Setup and SIM Card Activation
- Charge the Camera: Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using a standard USB charger (not included) for at least 8 hours.
- Insert TF Card (Optional): If using local storage, insert a TF (microSD) card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot.
- SIM Card: The camera comes with a pre-installed 4G LTE SIM card. This SIM card is essential for the camera's cellular connectivity. Private SIM cards cannot be used.

2.3 App Download and Account Creation
- Download iCam365 App: Search for "iCam365" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download the application.
- Register Account: Open the iCam365 app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account.
- Add Device: In the app, select "Add Device" or the '+' icon. Scan the QR code located on the camera or its packaging.
- Activate Data Plan: Once the camera is connected to the 4G network via the app, you can activate the trial data plan (300MB included) or purchase a suitable data plan directly through the app.

2.4 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel
Choose a location with good cellular signal and direct sunlight exposure for the solar panel. The camera is IP66 weather-resistant, suitable for outdoor installation.
- Select Location: Identify a suitable wall or surface for mounting the camera and solar panel. Ensure the solar panel receives maximum sunlight throughout the day.
- Drill Holes: Use the provided mounting template (if any) or mark the drill points for the camera and solar panel brackets. Drill pilot holes.
- Secure Brackets: Attach the mounting brackets to the surface using the screws and anchors.
- Attach Camera and Solar Panel: Securely attach the camera and solar panel to their respective brackets.
- Connect Solar Panel: Connect the solar panel cable to the charging port on the camera.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Access the live video feed and control the camera's movement through the iCam365 app.
- Open the iCam365 app and select your camera from the device list.
- The live video feed will appear.
- Use the on-screen joystick or directional arrows to pan (3550 horizontal) and tilt (900 vertical) the camera.
- Pinch to zoom for 4x digital zoom.

3.2 Two-Way Audio
The camera supports two-way audio, allowing you to listen and speak through the camera.
- While in live view, tap the microphone icon to speak.
- Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's location.
3.3 PIR Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera uses a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion, primarily focusing on heat signatures to reduce false alarms.
- When motion is detected, the camera will record a short video clip and send a real-time notification to your iCam365 app.
- You can adjust motion detection sensitivity and alert settings within the app.

3.4 Night Vision
The camera is equipped with night vision capabilities to provide clear footage in low-light or no-light conditions.
- The camera automatically switches to night vision mode when ambient light is insufficient.
- It provides clear black and white or color night vision depending on the model's specific features.

3.5 Data Plan Management
The camera operates on a 4G LTE cellular network, requiring a data plan. You can manage your data plan directly through the iCam365 app.
- Monitor your data usage within the iCam365 app.
- Purchase additional data or subscribe to unlimited plans as needed.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Solar Panel Efficiency
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from dust, dirt, leaves, or snow to maximize charging efficiency.
- Periodically check the solar panel's angle to ensure it receives optimal sunlight exposure, especially during seasonal changes.
4.2 Camera Lens Cleaning
- Gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth to remove any smudges or dirt that may affect image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals.
4.3 Firmware Updates
- Check the iCam365 app regularly for available firmware updates. Updates can improve performance, add new features, or fix bugs.
- Follow the in-app instructions to perform firmware updates. Ensure the camera has sufficient battery power during the update process.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No Connection / Offline
- Check 4G Signal: Ensure the camera is in an area with adequate 4G LTE cellular coverage.
- Data Plan: Verify that your data plan is active and has sufficient data remaining.
- Reboot Camera: Power cycle the camera by turning it off and on again.
- SIM Card: Ensure the pre-installed SIM card is properly seated.
5.2 Poor Image Quality
- Clean Lens: Clean the camera lens as described in the Maintenance section.
- Resolution Settings: Check the video resolution settings in the iCam365 app to ensure it's set to 2K.
5.3 Motion Detection Issues
- Sensitivity: Adjust the PIR motion detection sensitivity in the app settings.
- Obstructions: Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the PIR sensor's view.
- Placement: Re-evaluate camera placement to optimize detection area and minimize false triggers from environmental factors (e.g., swaying branches).
5.4 Battery Not Charging
- Solar Panel Exposure: Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours daily. Clear any obstructions.
- Solar Panel Connection: Verify the cable connecting the solar panel to the camera is securely attached.
- Extreme Weather: In prolonged cloudy or snowy conditions, the solar panel's efficiency may be reduced. Consider temporarily charging the camera via USB if needed.
