4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the cooktop for any damage. Keep packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
  2. Placement: Place the induction cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block the ventilation openings.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the glass surface of the cooktop with a damp cloth. Wash the griddle pan and lid with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
  5. Cookware Compatibility: Ensure you are using magnetic cookware (e.g., cast iron, steel, stainless steel with a magnetic base) with a flat bottom. The bottom diameter of the cookware should be between 4.72 inches and 9.45 inches. Non-magnetic materials like aluminum, ceramic, copper, or glass will not work.

  3. Select Heating Zone: Use the corresponding knob or touch control for the left or right burner to activate it.
  4. Adjust Power/Temperature: Rotate the knob to select one of the 8 power levels (P1-P8) or temperature settings. The display will show the selected level.
  5. Set Timer (Optional): Press the Timer button, then use the knobs to set the desired cooking time (up to 99 minutes). The cooktop will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
  6. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the cooktop. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool the unit.

5.2 Using the Griddle Pan

5.3 Power Distribution

When both burners are in use, the total power output will not exceed 1800W. The system intelligently distributes power between the two zones. For example, if one burner is set to a high power level, the other burner's maximum available power may be reduced.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your cooktop.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Cooktop Surface: The high-quality smooth glass surface can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for glass cooktops. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
  3. Griddle Pan: The non-stick cast iron griddle pan is dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, it can be washed by hand with warm soapy water. Ensure all food residues are removed.
  4. Lid: The griddle pan lid is also dishwasher-safe or can be hand-washed.
  5. Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
  6. Storage: Store the cooktop and griddle pan in a dry place when not in use.
