1. Introduction

This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new device.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Charging Case

Before first use, fully charge both the earbuds and the charging case.

1. Charge the Case: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The LCD display will show the battery percentage increasing.
2. Charge the Earbuds: Place the earbuds into their respective charging slots in the case. Ensure the charging contacts align. The LCD display will show charging icons for each earbud.
3. Full Charge Indication: The LCD display will show '100%' for the case and the earbud charging icons will disappear or show full battery when fully charged.

Note: A full charge for the headset typically takes 1.5 hours, and for the charging case, approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Pairing with Your Device

The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable and efficient connection.

1. Power On: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode. You may hear a voice prompt indicating they are ready to pair.
2. Activate Bluetooth: On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
3. Select Device: Look for "Donerton I09" (or similar name) in the list of available devices and select it to connect.
4. Confirmation: Once connected, you will hear a voice prompt confirming the successful pairing. The earbuds are now ready for use.

Note: The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when taken out of the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

5. Operating Instructions

The Donerton Wireless Earbuds feature intuitive touch controls.

5.1 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
• Next Track: Double tap the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double tap the left earbud.
• Volume Up: Triple tap the right earbud.
• Volume Down: Triple tap the left earbud.

5.2 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud during an incoming call or active call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds during an incoming call.

5.3 Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold either earbud for 3 seconds. (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

5.4 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case, or press and hold the touch control area for 3 seconds if earbuds are out of case and off.
• Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid, or press and hold the touch control area for 5 seconds.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your earbuds.

6.1 Cleaning

• Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.
• Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case regularly with a dry cotton swab to ensure proper charging.

6.2 Storage

• Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.
• Avoid storing in extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or in humid environments.

6.3 Water Resistance (IP7)

The earbuds are rated IP7 waterproof, meaning they can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. However, they are not designed for swimming or prolonged water exposure. Ensure earbuds are dry before placing them back in the charging case to prevent damage.
