Setup Guide

1. App Installation

Download the ICSee or XMEye app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS). Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4G WiFi network before proceeding.

2. Physical Installation

  1. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location with a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Ensure it is within range of your 2.4G WiFi network or close to an Ethernet port.
  2. Mounting:
    • Use the provided mounting template (if available) to mark drill holes on the wall.
    • Drill holes and insert wall plugs.
    • Secure the camera's mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.

3. Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

4. Network Connection & Device Pairing

  1. Wireless Connection (2.4G WiFi):
    • Open the ICSee/XMEye app and create an account or log in.
    • Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
    • Select "WiFi Camera" and follow the on-screen prompts. You will likely need to scan a QR code on the camera or listen for a sound prompt.
    • Enter your 2.4G WiFi network name and password when prompted.
    • Wait for the camera to connect to the network. Once connected, you can name your device and begin live viewing.
  2. Wired Connection (Ethernet):
    • Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the camera's Ethernet port.
    • Open the ICSee/XMEye app. The app should automatically detect the camera on your local network.
    • Follow the prompts to add and configure the camera.

Operating Instructions

1. Live View and Pan/Tilt Control

Once connected, open the app and select your camera to view the live feed. Use the on-screen joystick or swipe gestures to control the pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movement of the lower dome lens. The upper bullet lens provides a fixed wide-angle view.

2. Dual Lens Linkage

In the dual-screen interface, tap on a specific area in the fixed bullet camera's view. The pan/tilt dome camera will automatically rotate and zoom to that area, allowing for detailed inspection.

3. Recording Playback

Access recorded footage through the app's playback section. You can browse recordings by date and time. If an SD card is installed, recordings are stored locally. Cloud storage recordings are accessible via your subscription.

4. Two-Way Audio

Tap the microphone icon in the live view to speak through the camera's speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone. This feature allows for remote communication.

5. Alarm and Siren Activation

Configure motion detection settings in the app. When human motion is detected, the camera can automatically trigger its built-in siren and flash its floodlights to alert and deter. You can also manually activate these features from the app.

6. Motion Detection Settings
