4. Setup

4.1 Connectivity Modes

The EK98 supports three connection types:

• USB-C Wired: Connect the keyboard directly to your device using the provided USB-C cable.
• 2.4GHz Wireless: Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into your device. The keyboard will automatically connect.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, you can remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and use compressed air to clear debris from beneath the switches.

6.2 Switch and Keycap Replacement

The hot-swappable design allows for easy replacement of switches and keycaps. Use the keycap puller to gently remove keycaps. For switches, use the switch puller to carefully extract the switch from the PCB. Align new switches and press them firmly into place until they click. Ensure pins are not bent during insertion.

7. Troubleshooting

• Connectivity Issues: Ensure the keyboard is charged. For 2.4GHz, verify the dongle is securely inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode and visible to your device. Try re-pairing if issues persist.
• Keys Not Responding: Check if the keyboard is properly connected (wired, 2.4GHz, or Bluetooth). If a specific key is not working, try hot-swapping the switch with one of the spare switches provided.
