3. Product Overview

The INKBIRDPLUS 2.8L Dual Semiconductor Dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity in various indoor environments. It features dual-core dehumidification technology, a large water tank, quiet operation, and a 7-color night light.

4. Setup

Unpack the Dehumidifier: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the air inlets and outlets for optimal performance. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Power Connection: Ensure the water tank is correctly installed. Plug the power adapter into the dehumidifier's power port, then plug the other end into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

5. Operation

The dehumidifier features an intuitive control panel with an LCD screen. The screen displays current humidity and temperature.

5.1 Power On/Off

When connected to power, the unit is in Standby Mode (button lights up blue).
Short press the power button to turn on the device.
Long press the power button to turn off the device.

5.2 Mode Selection

Upon powering on, the device defaults to Automatic Dehumidification Mode. In this mode, the unit works when humidity is higher than 50% and stops when it falls below 45%.
Press the Mode button once to switch to Forced Dehumidification Mode. In this mode, the device operates continuously without humidity control.

5.3 Night Light Function

The dehumidifier features a 7-color night light.
Press the Light button to cycle through colors or set it to automatic color switching mode.
Press again to select a single desired color.
Press repeatedly to turn the light off.

5.4 Sleep Mode

Short press the Sleep Mode button to activate Sleep Mode.
In Sleep Mode, the dehumidifier operates with reduced noise (below 30dB) and the display screen and light are turned off for a peaceful environment.

5.5 Automatic Shut-off and Defrost

Water Tank Full: When the 2.8L water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off to prevent overflow. Empty the water tank and reinsert it to resume operation.
Water Tank Removal: If the water tank is removed during operation, the machine will automatically stop working. It will resume once the water tank is properly re-seated.
Defrost Function: The dehumidifier includes an automatic defrost function. If ice forms on the cooling elements in colder conditions, the unit will temporarily stop dehumidifying and initiate defrosting to maintain efficiency.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate.
Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
Pour out the collected water.
Slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation if it was previously on.

6.2 Cleaning the Dehumidifier

Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Air Filter Cleaning: Regularly check and clean the air filter to ensure optimal performance. Gently remove the filter and clean it with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. If heavily soiled, wash it with mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
Water Tank Cleaning: Clean the water tank periodically to prevent mold or mildew growth. Use mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry before reinserting.

7. Troubleshooting
