1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the Dtirszxy replacement remote control, designed for use with Pioneer VSX-529-K, VSX-529-S, VSX-80, and VSX-529 AV A/V Receivers. This remote offers direct functionality without requiring programming.

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards and remove it.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks securely.

3. Operating Instructions
This remote control operates using infrared (IR) technology. For optimal performance, ensure a clear line of sight between the remote's emitter and the receiver's IR sensor.
3.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the receiver on or off.
- Volume Control: Use the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons to adjust the audio level.
- Input Selection: Press the dedicated input buttons (e.g., BD, DVD, SAT, HDMI, TUNER) to switch between different audio/video sources connected to your receiver.
- Mute: Press the MUTE button to temporarily silence the audio. Press again to restore sound.
- Navigation: Use the directional arrow buttons (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) and the ENTER button for menu navigation.
Point the remote control directly towards the signal receiving window of your Pioneer AV receiver for all operations.

5. Troubleshooting

- Distance: Ensure you are within the operational range of 10 meters (approx. 33 feet) from the receiver.
- Receiver Power: Confirm that your Pioneer receiver is powered on and functioning correctly.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's performance degrades or if it stops responding. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Storage: Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
