Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when using your portable air conditioner, follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using this appliance.
  • Only use the appliance for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.
  • Do not block air outlets or inlets. Maintain a minimum distance from walls and furniture.

Setup and Installation

1. Unit Placement

Place the portable air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. The unit is equipped with swivel casters for easy mobility.

2. Window Kit Installation

The window exhaust kit is designed for installation in most standard vertical or horizontal sliding windows. It can also be adapted for double-hung or single-hung windows.

  1. Adjust the window sealing plate to fit your window opening. The plate is adjustable from 67.6 cm to 126.2 cm.
  2. Secure the plate in the window frame.
  3. Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.
  4. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter on the window sealing plate. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leakage.

3. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the power requirements of the unit (230V).

Operating Instructions

Your SereneLife portable air conditioner offers three operating modes: Cooling, Dehumidification, and Fan. It can be controlled via the integrated LED display panel or the remote control.

Control Panel and Remote Functions

  • Power (On/Off): Press to turn the unit on or off.
  • Mode: Press to cycle through Cooling, Dehumidifier, and Fan modes.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the Up/Down arrows to set the desired temperature (available in Cooling mode).
  • Fan Speed: Press to select between High, Medium, and Low fan speeds (available in Cooling and Fan modes).
  • Timer: Set a timer for the unit to automatically turn on or off.
  • Swing: Activates automatic oscillation for wider air distribution.
  • Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed and noise for quiet operation during sleep.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

This unit is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing you to control it remotely via a smartphone application. Refer to the separate Wi-Fi setup guide for detailed instructions on connecting your device.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.

1. Air Filter Cleaning

The unit features a washable filter. Clean the air filter every two weeks or more frequently if the unit is used in a dusty environment.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter under running water (warm, not hot) or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
  4. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

2. Water Drainage

In Dehumidifier mode, the unit collects moisture. When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an indicator. Drain the water as follows:

  1. Unplug the air conditioner.
  2. Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage outlet at the bottom rear of the unit.
  3. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  4. Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.

3. Storage

If the unit will not be used for an extended period:

  • Drain all accumulated water.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
