3. Compatibility

This system is designed for specific BMW 3 Series models with a factory OEM push-start button and automatic transmission. It is not compatible with manual transmission or hybrid versions.

4. Setup and Installation

This system requires a semi-plug-and-play installation. Some wiring connections are still necessary. Professional installation by a trained alarm installer is highly recommended.

4.1. Immobilizer Bypass

One factory key fob is required to be placed inside the bypass module to manage the car's chip immobilizer. Soldering with the factory original key and the bypass module may be necessary.

4.2. Antenna Placement

Proper placement of the PKE antennas is crucial for optimal performance of the passive keyless entry feature.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Key Fob Functions

  • Lock/Arm: Press the lock button once.
  • Unlock/Disarm: Press the unlock button once.
  • Remote Start/Stop: In lock/arm status, hold the siren icon button on the key fob for 3 seconds to remote start the car. Hold it again for 3 seconds to shut off the car.
  • Trunk Release: Continue to press the trunk release button twice to open the trunk.

5.2. Passive Keyless Entry (PKE)

The PKE feature automatically unlocks or locks your car doors as you approach or walk away from the vehicle with the key fob. The system will unlock when you are within 3-6 feet and lock when you move 3-6 feet away.

Use the provided NFC card to lock or unlock the car door. This feature provides an alternative entry method without the key fob.
