Operating Instructions
The Arcadia Tea Maker offers precise temperature control for various tea types.
Boiling Water
- Ensure the kettle is filled with water and placed on the power base.
- Press the power button (⏻) on the handle's LED display to turn on the unit.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired boiling temperature. The LED display will show the selected temperature. The temperature gauge on the main body provides an analog reading.
- The kettle will begin heating. Once the set temperature is reached, the unit will automatically shut off.
Brewing Tea
- Boil water in the kettle to the desired temperature according to your tea type. Refer to the tea steeping guide below.
- Add your preferred loose tea leaves to the removable stainless steel infuser. For Turkish tea, use approximately 2-3 tablespoons of black tea for the 1.0L teapot.
- Place the infuser into the teapot and then place the teapot on top of the kettle.
- Pour a small amount of the hot water from the kettle into the teapot, just enough to cover the tea leaves. Let it steep for 1-2 minutes to 'bloom' the tea.
- Fill the rest of the teapot with hot water from the kettle.
- Allow the tea to steep for the recommended time. The kettle can be set to a 'Keep Warm' temperature (40-90°C / 104-194°F) to maintain the water temperature while the tea brews. Press the 'Keep Warm' button (SSS) on the handle to activate this function and adjust the temperature with '+' and '-' buttons.
- Once steeped, pour the concentrated tea from the teapot into your serving glass, then dilute with hot water from the kettle to your desired strength.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your Arcadia Tea Maker.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely. Hand wash the teapot, infuser, and the interior of the kettle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or boil the mixture for 5-10 minutes for heavy buildup. Rinse thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any vinegar residue.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the tea maker is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
