4. Setup

4.1 Initial Placement

Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and air vents. For optimal performance, place it at least 12 inches (30 cm) from walls and furniture.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
3. Pour clean, cool tap water or distilled water directly into the tank. Do not exceed the 'MAX' water level indicator.
4. Replace the top cover securely.

4.3 Connecting the Power

Plug the 24V adapter into the power port on the back of the humidifier, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

4.4 Optional: Probe Installation (for advanced humidity monitoring)

Some advanced setups, particularly for plant care, may involve an external humidity probe. If your setup includes one, insert the probe securely into its designated port. This allows for precise humidity readings within a specific environment, such as a grow tent.

5. Operating Instructions

The iCan humidifier offers multiple control options for convenience.

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the touch panel to turn the humidifier on or off. The digital display will illuminate upon activation.

5.2 Adjusting Mist Output

The humidifier features 3 mist modes: Low, Medium, and High. Press the mist button on the touch panel to cycle through the settings. The current mist level will be indicated on the display.

5.3 Smart Humidity Control (Auto Mode)

Activate the Smart Humidity Control feature to automatically maintain your desired humidity level. Press the 'Auto' button and select a target humidity between 30% and 80% (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%). The humidifier will adjust its mist output to reach and maintain this level.

5.4 Timer Function

Set the humidifier to operate for a specific duration using the timer function. Available settings include 2 hours, 4 hours, and 8 hours. The humidifier will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

5.5 Fragrance-Only Mode

To enjoy aromatherapy without adding humidity, activate the fragrance-only mode. In this mode, the mist output is turned off, but the aroma diffuser continues to operate. Add essential oils to the aroma box located on the side of the unit.

5.6 Plant Mode (Green-leaf Mode)

For plant enthusiasts, the dedicated Green-leaf Mode provides full-room humidity to help your plants thrive. Activate this mode for optimized environmental conditions for plant growth.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your humidifier.

6.1 Daily Maintenance

• Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
• Wipe the exterior of the humidifier with a soft, damp cloth.

6.2 Weekly Cleaning

1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the top cover.
2. Remove the water tank from the base chamber and pour out any remaining water from both the tank and the base.
3. Fill the tank and base chamber with 3 cups (710 mL) of distilled white vinegar.
4. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes until the vinegar loosens any scale deposits.
5. Swirl the vinegar in the tank and pour it out. Rinse the tank with water to clear off the remaining vinegar.
6. Pour out the vinegar from the base chamber and rinse it out.
7. Use the attached cleaning brush to clean the base chamber, especially the transducer.
8. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water and dry them before reassembling.

6.3 Aroma Pad Replacement

Replace the aroma pad in the aroma box as needed, typically when the scent diminishes or the pad appears soiled.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your iCan humidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Mist: Check if the humidifier is plugged in, the water tank is properly seated, and there is sufficient water. Ensure the mist output is not set to 'Fragrance-Only' mode.
• Weak Mist: Clean the transducer and water tank to remove any mineral buildup. Ensure the mist nozzle is clear.
• Unusual Odor: Clean the water tank and base thoroughly. Use distilled water to minimize mineral buildup.
• Leaking: Ensure the water tank is correctly positioned and the top cover is sealed. Do not overfill the tank.
• Display Not Working: Check power connection. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
