3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  2. Connect the regulator hose to a standard 5 lb or 20 lb propane gas cylinder. Tighten securely by hand.
  3. Place the propane tank on a stable surface, away from the grill. The hose length allows for flexible placement.
  4. Open the valve on the propane tank slowly to allow gas flow.
  5. Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the gas valve immediately and re-tighten connections. Repeat the test. Do not operate the grill if a leak persists.
