Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the removable non-stick cooking bowl, tempered glass lid, measuring cup, and rice paddle in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from water and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

Operating Instructions

Cooking Rice

  1. Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full measuring cup typically holds about 180ml of uncooked rice.
  2. Rinse Rice (Optional): Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
  3. Add Rice to Bowl: Place the rinsed rice into the removable non-stick cooking bowl.
  4. Add Water: Add the appropriate amount of water. The cooking bowl has internal measuring lines for guidance. A general ratio is 1 cup of uncooked rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, but this can vary based on rice type and desired consistency.
  5. Insert Bowl: Place the cooking bowl into the rice cooker base unit, ensuring it is seated properly.
  6. Close Lid: Place the tempered glass lid securely on the cooking bowl.
  7. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The "WARM" indicator light may illuminate.
  8. Start Cooking: Press the "COOK" switch down. The "COOK" indicator light will illuminate, indicating that cooking has begun.
  9. Automatic Keep Warm: Once the rice is cooked (typically 30-40 minutes), the rice cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" function. The "COOK" light will turn off, and the "WARM" light will illuminate.
  10. Resting Period: For best results, allow the rice to rest on "WARM" for 5-10 minutes after cooking is complete. This allows the rice to absorb any remaining moisture and become fluffier.
  11. Serve: Use the provided rice paddle to fluff and serve the rice.
  12. Unplug: Always unplug the rice cooker from the outlet when not in use.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your rice cooker.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash Removable Parts: The removable non-stick cooking bowl, tempered glass lid, measuring cup, and rice paddle can be washed in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
  3. Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the rice cooker in a cool, dry place.

Product Care Instruction: Hand Wash for removable parts.
