3.3 App Remote Access Setup (Optional)
For remote viewing and control via your smartphone or tablet, the NVR monitor must be connected to your home router.
- Connect NVR to Router: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the NVR monitor to your home internet router.
- Download CloudEye 365 App: Scan the QR code displayed on the NVR monitor or search for "CloudEye 365" in your device's app store (iOS/Android).
- Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your NVR system by scanning the QR code on the NVR or manually entering the device ID.
4. Operation
4.1 Live View and Display Options
View live feeds directly on the 10.1-inch NVR monitor or connect to a larger display.
- NVR Monitor: The monitor displays live feeds from all connected cameras. You can switch between single-camera view and multi-camera quad view.
- HDMI Output: Connect the NVR monitor to a smart TV or PC via the HDMI port for viewing on a larger screen.
- Camera Expansion: The NVR monitor supports up to 10 channels, allowing you to add more cameras to expand your surveillance coverage.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your security system.
- Clean Lenses: Periodically wipe camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or water spots that may obstruct vision.
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Ensure solar panels are free from debris, leaves, or snow to maximize sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
- Check Mounts: Verify that cameras and solar panels remain securely mounted, especially after strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
- Software Updates: Check for firmware updates for the NVR and cameras via the system settings or mobile app to ensure the latest features and security patches.
5.1 Weather Resistance
The cameras are designed to withstand various weather conditions.
- IP66 Waterproof: Cameras are rated IP66, allowing them to operate perfectly in temperatures from -13°F to 122°F (-10°C to 50°C), including rain, sun exposure, and extremely cold weather.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your CAMCAMP security system, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Camera Feed on NVR: Ensure cameras are powered on and within range of the NVR. Verify that the NVR monitor is powered on and correctly configured. Cameras are pre-paired, so they should connect automatically.
- App Remote Access Not Working: Confirm the NVR monitor is connected to your home router via Ethernet. Check your router's internet connection. Ensure the CloudEye 365 app is updated and the device is correctly added.
- Short Battery Life: Verify that solar panels are placed in direct sunlight for several hours daily. Clean any obstructions from the solar panel surface. Ensure the camera's recording mode is set to motion-triggered to conserve power.
- False Motion Alerts: Adjust the PIR motion detection sensitivity settings in the camera setup menu on the NVR or via the app. Define specific detection zones to exclude areas with frequent irrelevant movement.
- Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view. Check the camera's resolution settings on the NVR.
- No Audio/Poor Audio: Check the volume settings on the NVR monitor and your mobile device. Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the microphone or speaker on the camera.
