Thank you for choosing the TaskStar Cordless Impact Wrench. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new tool. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Always observe basic safety precautions when using electric tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Ensure the work area is well-lit and clear of obstructions.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
• Use only TaskStar recommended batteries and chargers.
• Do not expose the tool or battery to rain or wet conditions.
• Disconnect the battery pack from the tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge both 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries. The fast charger typically charges a battery in 1-2 hours.

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show its status.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place. The indicator light will change to show charging is in progress (e.g., red for charging, green for full).
3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

4.2. Installing the Battery and Socket

1. Align the battery pack with the base of the impact wrench.
2. Slide the battery pack into the tool until it locks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated to prevent accidental detachment during operation.
3. Select the appropriate 1/2" impact socket for your task.
4. Push the socket firmly onto the 1/2" square drive anvil of the impact wrench until it clicks into place. For added security, use the provided pin and O-ring set if your sockets have corresponding holes.
