Assembly Instructions
Estimated assembly time: 1.5 hours. Two adults are recommended for assembly.
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Compare all parts with the package contents list.
- Attach Legs to Headboard and Footboard: Secure the solid wood legs to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure they are firmly attached.
- Connect Side Rails to Headboard: Align the side rails with the headboard. Insert bolts and tighten them securely. It may be helpful to have a second person hold the headboard steady during this step.
- Connect Side Rails to Footboard: Repeat the previous step to connect the side rails to the footboard, completing the main frame structure.
- Install Center Support Beam: Place the center support beam along the middle of the bed frame. Attach the center support legs and secure the beam to the headboard and footboard or side rails as per the diagram in your hardware pack.
- Place Slats: Lay the wooden slats across the bed frame, ensuring even spacing. Many slats come with Velcro or foam tape for quick installation and noise reduction. Press down firmly to secure them.
- Final Tightening: Double-check all bolts and screws to ensure they are fully tightened.

Operating Instructions
The HOWE King Size Bed Frame is designed for use with a King size mattress between 10 and 18 inches thick. A box spring is not required due to the robust slat support system.
Place your mattress directly onto the wooden slats. The EVA foam on the slats helps to prevent noise and keep the mattress in place.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your bed frame, follow these care instructions:
