Operating Instructions
1. Pad Selection:
Different pads are designed for specific tasks. Generally, thicker, firmer pads are used for cutting (removing heavy imperfections), while softer, lighter pads are for polishing and finishing.
- Cutting Pads (e.g., Orange Wave Foam Pad): Firmer texture, often with dimples, for removing deeper scratches and oxidation.
- Polishing Pads (e.g., Blue Flat Foam Pad): Softer texture for refining the finish, removing minor swirls, and enhancing gloss.
- Finishing Pads (e.g., Black Flat Foam Pad): Very soft for applying waxes, sealants, or achieving a final high-gloss finish.
- Wool Pads: Aggressive cutting for severe paint defects.

2. Speed Control:
The polisher features 6 variable speed settings. Adjust the speed according to the task and the type of compound being used.
- Speeds 1-2 (Low): Ideal for waxing and buffing.
- Speeds 3-4 (Medium): Suitable for general polishing and cleaning.
- Speeds 5-6 (High): Recommended for removing paint imperfections, deep scratches, and oxidation.

3. Polishing Technique:
- Apply a small amount of polishing compound evenly onto the pad or directly onto the surface area to be polished.
- Place the polisher flat on the surface before turning it on to prevent sling.
- Move the polisher in a criss-cross or overlapping pattern, ensuring even coverage. Apply light to moderate pressure.
- Work on small sections at a time (e.g., 2x2 feet) to ensure thorough and effective polishing.
- After polishing a section, wipe off any excess compound with a clean microfiber towel.
