Maintenance

Troubleshooting

No Picture or Sound on Parent Unit:
  • Ensure both the parent unit and camera unit are powered on and connected to their respective AC adapters.
  • Check if the parent unit's battery is charged.
  • Verify that the units are within range (up to 1,000 feet in open areas). Obstacles like walls and furniture can reduce range.
  • Re-pair the camera and parent unit if they have lost connection (refer to the 'Add Camera' section in the menu).
Poor Picture Quality or Interference:
  • Move the parent unit closer to the camera unit.
  • Ensure there are no large metal objects or other electronic devices (e.g., microwaves, Wi-Fi routers) interfering with the signal.
  • Adjust the camera's position to avoid direct light sources or reflections.
VOX Mode Not Activating:
  • Check the VOX sensitivity settings in the menu. Increase the sensitivity if the unit is not detecting sounds.
  • Ensure the VOX mode is enabled.
Battery Not Holding Charge:
  • Ensure the AC adapter is properly connected to the parent unit and the power outlet.
  • Allow sufficient charging time (at least 8 hours for a full charge).
  • If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement. Contact customer support.
