Setup

  2. Attach Wrist Strap: If desired, attach the wrist strap to the designated loop on the device for secure handling during use.
  3. Power On: Slide the On/Off switch to the "On" position. The LED indicator may briefly illuminate.

Operating Instructions

The RC Ultrasonic Dog Repeller U20 offers two ultrasonic modes and an LED light function.

  1. Activating Normal Ultrasound: When your dog exhibits an unwanted behavior (e.g., barking), press and hold the Normal Ultrasound button. Release the button once the behavior stops.
  2. Activating Enhanced Ultrasound (MAX): For more stubborn behaviors or in situations requiring a stronger deterrent, press and hold the Enhanced Ultrasound (MAX) button. Release the button when the behavior ceases.
  3. Using the LED Light: Press the Lamp Button to turn on the LED light. Press it again to turn it off. This can be used for visibility in low-light conditions.
  4. Effective Range: The optimal effective range for the ultrasonic function is up to 10 meters (approximately 32.8 feet). While it may have some effect up to 40 feet, its effectiveness is reduced at this extended distance.
  5. Target Age Range: This device is most effective for dogs between 6 months and 8 years of age. Dogs outside this range may not respond as effectively due to developmental stages or potential hearing issues.
