4.1. Battery Installation

To install the batteries:

  1. Gently push to open the back cover of the sensor.

Mount the sensor on the top panel of your garage door. Ensure the 'UP' arrow on the back of the sensor and the speaker holes are positioned at the top for correct orientation and functionality.

  2. Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive tape on the sensor.
  3. Firmly press the sensor onto the clean surface, ensuring the 'UP' arrow and speaker holes face upwards.

4.3. Pairing with a Smart Home Hub

The sensor uses Zigbee 3.0 for connectivity. Follow the pairing instructions specific to your smart home hub.

4.3.1. General Zigbee Pairing

  1. Ensure your smart home hub is in pairing mode.
  2. Press and hold the reset button on the sensor for 5 seconds. The LED light will turn red and flash in blue, indicating it's in Zigbee pairing mode.

If using the Smart Bridge MZ1 (sold separately) for broader smart assistant compatibility (Apple HomeKit, Google Home), ensure your Smart Bridge firmware is up to date.

  1. Open the 3R-Installer App.
  2. Tap the Smart Bridge icon to enter the devices page.
  3. Tap "+ Bridge ZIGBEE Devices" to start Zigbee pairing.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the device.
  5. To link with Matter-enabled services, copy the Manual Setup Code or scan the QR Code within 3 minutes, then add the bridge to other Matter-supported ecosystems.

6. Sensitivity Adjustment
