Product Overview

The GENBOLT 4G LTE Solar Security Camera is a completely wire-free outdoor surveillance solution designed for areas without Wi-Fi access. It operates on a 4G cellular network and is powered by a built-in 10500mAh rechargeable battery, continuously charged by a 6W solar panel. This camera features 2K video capture resolution, PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) capabilities, PIR motion detection, and an IP66 weatherproof rating, making it suitable for various outdoor environments.

SIM Card and SD Card Insertion

1. Locate the TF Card Slot and SIM Card Slot on the camera. These are typically protected by a rubber cover to ensure waterproofing.
2. Carefully open the cover.
3. Insert a 4G LTE SIM card into the SIM card slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly. Ensure it clicks into place.
4. Insert a Micro SD card (not included, up to 128GB recommended) into the TF card slot for local video storage.
5. Close the rubber cover firmly to maintain the IP66 weatherproof rating.

Physical Installation

1. Choose a suitable location for installation. Ensure the solar panel receives adequate direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging.
2. Mount the camera bracket to a wall or pole using the provided screws and wall plugs.
3. Attach the camera to the mounted bracket.
4. Connect the solar panel to the camera's Type-C charging port. Adjust the solar panel's angle to maximize sun exposure.

App Download and Pairing

1. Download the official GENBOLT app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register an account and log in.
3. Power on the camera using the power button near the Type-C port.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its device ID.
5. Once paired, the camera will connect to the 4G network automatically (if the SIM card is active and pre-paired).

Operation Guide

Live View and PTZ Control

Access the live video feed through the GENBOLT app. From the live view interface, you can control the camera's pan (355°) and tilt (90°) movements to adjust the viewing angle remotely.

PIR Detection and Alerts

The camera utilizes a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect heat signatures from moving objects, such as humans or large animals. When motion is detected, the camera will:

• Send instant push notifications to your smartphone.
• Initiate video recording to the inserted Micro SD card or cloud storage (if subscribed).
• Activate the built-in floodlights (in White Light mode) and siren to deter intruders, if configured.

Recording and Playback

Recorded videos can be accessed and played back directly through the GENBOLT app. You can review event-triggered recordings or continuous recordings (if supported by your storage plan).

Solar Charging

The 6W solar panel continuously charges the camera's internal battery. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal power management and extended battery life.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Periodically clean the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality and efficient solar charging. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Battery Management

While the solar panel provides continuous charging, monitor the battery level via the app, especially during prolonged periods of low sunlight. If the battery level drops significantly, consider temporarily charging the camera via the Type-C port using a standard USB charger.

Firmware Updates

Check the GENBOLT app regularly for available firmware updates. Keeping the camera's firmware updated ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.

Troubleshooting

• Camera Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the camera to a power adapter via the Type-C port for initial charging. Verify the power button is in the 'On' position.
• No 4G Signal: Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and active. Ensure you are in an area with 4G LTE coverage. If the SIM card was provided by GENBOLT, confirm its activation status.
• Motion Detection Not Working: Verify that PIR detection is enabled in the app settings. Adjust PIR sensitivity if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view.
• Poor Video Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure the camera is receiving adequate light. Check your 4G signal strength, as weak signal can affect streaming quality.
• Battery Draining Quickly: Ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight for several hours daily. Reduce the frequency of motion alerts or live view sessions if not critical.
• Cannot Connect to App: Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection. Restart the camera and your phone. Try re-pairing the camera with the app if the issue persists.
