3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the Ztation Speaker from its packaging.
  • Ensure all components are present: Ztation Speaker, Power Adapter.
  • Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

3.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the rear of the Ztation Speaker.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The LED display will illuminate, indicating the device is powered on.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

The Ztation Speaker is designed to be always on when connected to power, maintaining clock and alarm settings. To turn off the display or audio, use the respective function buttons.

4.2 Setting the Clock

Refer to the control panel buttons (usually labeled 'Time Set' or similar, or a combination of 'Mode' and arrow keys) to adjust the time. Follow the on-screen prompts on the LED display.

4.3 Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'Bluetooth' mode is selected. The display may show 'BT' or a Bluetooth icon.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'SOUNDCRUSH Ztation' from the list.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible tone or display change. You can now stream audio wirelessly.

4.4 FM Radio

  1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'FM Radio' mode is selected. The display may show 'FM'.
  2. To perform an auto-scan for stations, press and hold the 'Play/Pause' or 'Scan' button. The speaker will automatically search and save available stations (up to 20 presets).
  3. Use the 'Previous/Next' buttons to navigate through the saved preset stations.

4.5 Wireless Charging

  1. Place your Qi-compatible device (e.g., smartphone) on the wireless charging pad located on top of the Ztation Speaker.
  2. Ensure the device is centered on the charging pad for optimal contact.
  3. The device's screen should indicate that it is charging.

4.6 Dual Alarm Clocks and Snooze

  1. Setting Alarms: Press the 'Alarm Set' button (or similar) to enter alarm setting mode. Use the 'Previous/Next' buttons to adjust the hour and minute, and confirm with 'Alarm Set' or 'OK'. Repeat for the second alarm.
  2. Activating/Deactivating Alarms: Use the 'Alarm 1' and 'Alarm 2' buttons to toggle each alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
  3. Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press the 'Snooze' button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after a set interval (e.g., 9 minutes).
  4. Stopping Alarms: To turn off a sounding alarm completely, press any button other than 'Snooze'.

4.7 Timer Function

Press the 'Timer' button (or similar) to activate the timer function. Use the 'Previous/Next' buttons to set the desired countdown duration. The timer will begin counting down once confirmed.

4.8 Dimmable LED Display

Press the 'Dimmer' button (or a dedicated light icon button) repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels for the LED display. This allows adjustment for various ambient light conditions.

4.9 AUX-IN Connection

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the 'AUX-IN' port on the rear of the Ztation Speaker using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Press the 'Mode' button until 'AUX' mode is selected to play audio from the connected device.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Unplug the device before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive cleaning agents.

5.2 Storage

If storing the device for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
