  • Connect the red wire from the camera power cable to the reversing lamp's positive (+) terminal.

3.3 Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Setup

The unit supports steering wheel controls for convenience.

  • Without CANBUS Decoder: Connect the plugs or the steering wheel control wires (Key1/Key2) in the power cable to the corresponding port or wire of your original car. Then, navigate to the "SteeringWheelKey" manual match setting within the unit to activate the button functions.
  • With CANBUS Decoder: Connect the CANBUS before powering on the machine. Then, follow this path: Apps > Settings > Factory Settings (1234) > CAN Settings to make SWC work properly. 5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Roinvou car radio, follow these general maintenance guidelines:

  • Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-safe cleaner to gently wipe the touch screen. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Software Updates: Periodically check for available software updates to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes. Refer to the device settings for update options.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.
  • Cable Connections: Ensure all cables remain securely connected. Loose connections can lead to intermittent functionality.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter:

  • No Sound Output: If your car has a factory power amplifier, the included wiring harness may not be compatible. An adapter might be necessary. Consult a professional car audio installer.
  • Intermittent Audio/System Stops: Check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure. A loose connection can cause audio interruptions. If the issue persists, a software reset may be required.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto Connection Issues: Ensure you are using the original USB data cable for wired connections. For wireless, verify Bluetooth is enabled on both the phone and the head unit. If connection is slow, try restarting both devices.
  • Volume Level Discrepancy (e.g., CarPlay vs. Radio): Adjust individual volume settings within the unit's audio menu for different sources.
  • Loudness EQ Turns Off: This may be a software setting. Check the audio settings for options to save or lock EQ preferences. If the issue persists after a software update, contact customer support.
  • Mounting Clips Not Working: The provided clips are designed for specific fitment. If they do not align, minor modifications to the interior trim (e.g., clipping screw holes flush) might be needed for proper fit.
  • Mirror Link Prompts for Credit Card Information: The Mirror Link feature should not require credit card details for basic functionality. If prompted, discontinue the process and ensure you are using the official app or method. Avoid downloading files from unknown sources.

If you encounter issues not listed here or if troubleshooting steps do not resolve the problem, please contact Roinvou customer support.
