Setup

Power Connection

The clock requires continuous external power to operate.

  1. Connect the provided USB power cable to the clock's power input port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the included power adapter.
  3. Insert the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

Memory Battery Installation (Optional)

To retain time settings during a power outage, install two AAA batteries (not included) in the memory battery compartment located on the back of the clock.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
  2. Open the cover and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

Setting Time and Date

Refer to the buttons on the back or side of the clock (typically labeled 'SET', 'MODE', '+', '-') to adjust the time and date. Press the 'SET' or 'MODE' button to cycle through settings (Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute) and use '+' and '-' to change values. Press 'SET' or 'MODE' again to confirm each setting.

12/24 Hour Format Switch

The clock supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. In time display mode, press the designated button (often '+' or 'MODE') to toggle between these formats.

Daylight Saving Time (DST)

To enable or disable DST, short press the "-" button when the clock is in time display mode. The clock will automatically adjust the time according to the date if DST is enabled.

Alarm Settings

The clock features a dual alarm function.

  2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour and minute for Alarm 1.
  3. Press "ALARM" again to confirm and move to Alarm 2 settings, or to exit.
  4. To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the "ALARM" button repeatedly until the alarm icon appears/disappears on the display.

Brightness Control

The clock offers automatic and manual brightness adjustment.

Mounting and Placement

The JoFomp digital clock can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall.

Desktop Placement

Ensure the clock is placed on a stable, flat surface where it will not be easily knocked over.

Wall Mounting

Use the two included nails to securely mount the clock on a wall. Ensure the mounting location is suitable and can support the clock's weight. Mark the desired positions for the nails, insert them into the wall, and then hang the clock using the keyhole slots on its back.

Maintenance

  • Clean the clock's display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays.
  • Do not expose the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity, as this may affect its performance and lifespan.
  • If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the AAA memory batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage.
