1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Stealth Cam Deceptor Cellular Trail Camera and FieldMax Lithium Rechargeable Battery Cartridge. 3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

The Deceptor camera is powered by the included FieldMax Lithium Rechargeable Battery Cartridge or by 8 AA batteries (not included). For optimal performance and extended battery life, the FieldMax cartridge is recommended.

1. Open the camera's battery compartment.
2. Insert the FieldMax Lithium Rechargeable Battery Cartridge or 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

3.3. Mounting the Camera

The Deceptor camera can be mounted using the included strap or a 1/4-20 threaded insert for various mounting accessories.

2. Use the provided strap to secure the camera firmly to a tree or post.
3. Alternatively, attach the camera to a compatible mounting accessory using the 1/4-20 threaded insert.
