1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Anweller Fingerprint Padlock. This smart electronic lock offers multiple unlocking methods including fingerprint, mobile app, and traditional key backup, providing enhanced security and convenience for various applications such as outdoor fences, gates, sheds, gyms, and lockers. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your padlock.

2. Product Features

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the padlock. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port located at the bottom of the padlock and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

4.2 App Download and Installation

Search for the "Anweller Smart Lock" app on your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS) and install it. Alternatively, scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide (if applicable) to download the app.

4.3 Pairing with Bluetooth

1. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Open the Anweller Smart Lock app.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app will search for nearby Anweller padlocks.
4. Select your padlock from the list to pair. You may need to briefly touch the fingerprint sensor on the padlock to activate it for pairing.
5. Once paired, the padlock's status will be displayed in the app.

4.4 Adding Administrator Fingerprint

The first fingerprint registered through the app will be designated as the administrator fingerprint. This fingerprint has full control over the lock, including adding and deleting other user fingerprints.

1. In the app, navigate to the "Fingerprint Management" section.
2. Select "Add Fingerprint".
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to place your finger on the padlock's sensor multiple times from different angles until the registration is complete.
4. A confirmation message will appear in the app upon successful registration.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Unlocking with Fingerprint

Place a registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The indicator light will turn green, and the padlock will unlock instantly. You can then pull the shackle open.

5.2 Unlocking with Mobile App

Ensure your smartphone is within Bluetooth range of the padlock. Open the Anweller Smart Lock app, select your padlock, and tap the "Unlock" button. The padlock will unlock.

5.3 Unlocking with Key Backup

In case of battery depletion or other issues, insert one of the provided backup keys into the keyhole located at the bottom of the padlock and turn to unlock.

6. App Control and Management

The Anweller Smart Lock app provides comprehensive control over your padlock:

• Fingerprint Management: Add, modify, or delete user fingerprints. Up to 20 fingerprints can be stored.
• Unlock Records: View a history of all unlock events, including the method used and timestamp.
• Temporary Access: Share temporary unlock permissions with family or friends for a specified duration.
• Battery Status: Monitor the padlock's battery level in real-time.
• Device Settings: Adjust various settings for the padlock.

7. Charging the Padlock

When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash red or the app will notify you. To charge, connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the bottom of the padlock. A full charge typically takes a few hours. Avoid using the padlock while it is charging.

8. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the padlock body and fingerprint sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Weather Protection: Although weatherproof, for prolonged outdoor exposure, consider placing the padlock in a sheltered area to maximize its lifespan.
• Battery Care: For optimal battery health, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge it when the low battery warning appears.
• Key Storage: Keep the backup keys in a safe and accessible location, separate from the padlock.
