Setup Guide
Unboxing and Initial Assembly
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The feeder consists of the main unit, food tank, stainless steel bowl, bowl tray, power adapter, and user manual.

Install the food tank onto the base unit and ensure it locks securely into place. Place the stainless steel bowl into the bowl tray and position it in front of the feeder's food outlet.

Power Options
The PETLIBRO feeder offers flexible power options: either via the included power adapter or by using 3 D alkaline batteries (not included). For battery operation, open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. For continuous power, connect the power adapter to the feeder and a wall outlet.

Filling the Food Tank
Press the lid release button on top of the feeder to remove the lid. Pour dry kibble into the food tank. Ensure the kibble diameter is between 2-15mm to prevent jamming. Replace the lid and press down firmly until it locks into place, indicated by a click, to keep food fresh and secure.

Operating Instructions
Setting Time and Feeding Schedule
Open the control panel cover by pressing its center. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the current hour and minute. Press 'Set' to confirm. The feeder supports up to 6 meals per day, with 1-16 portions of food per meal. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the feeding time and portion size for each meal. Press 'Set' to confirm each step.

Manual Feeding
To manually dispense food, press the 'Manual' button on the control panel. Each press will dispense one portion of food. You can press the button up to 5 times for immediate feeding.

Care and Maintenance
Disassembly and Cleaning
For optimal pet health and hygiene, regular cleaning of the feeder is recommended. The top lid, food tank, internal rotor, and stainless steel food bowl are all easily detachable for thorough cleaning. To disassemble, unlock and remove the food tank from the base. Rotate the rotor clockwise to remove it from the tank base. Thoroughly wash the tank, tank base, lid, food bowl, and tray with water. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.
Important: Do not wash the feeder base with water. It should only be wiped with a dry cloth if cleaning is necessary.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Low Food / Battery Alerts: The intelligent indicator on the control panel will notify you when food or battery levels are low. Refill food or replace batteries as needed.
- Food Stuck: If food becomes stuck, the indicator will alert you. Ensure kibble size is within the recommended 2-15mm range. Disassemble and clean the internal rotor and food path if necessary.
- Accidental Button Presses: The feeder features a button protection panel to prevent unintended presses. Ensure the panel is closed when not in use.
- Pet Stealing Food: The press-to-lock top lid and securely closed rotor at the food outlet are designed to prevent pets from accessing food outside of scheduled times. Ensure the lid is properly locked.
- Feeder Tipping: For larger or more active pets, consider placing the feeder in a stable location or against a wall to prevent tipping.
